Policy Primers: Grassroots Advocacy

The Center for Competitive Politics published two policy primers on grassroots advocacy.

The first, “Grassroots Lobbying Proposals Seem Not to Further Congress’ Interest in Correct Lobbying Abuses,” details the incompatible relationship between regulating grassroots activity and reforming the lobbying industry.

The second, “Grassroots Lobbying Proposals Ignore Constitutional Protections for Anonymous Speech,” addresses the Constitutional protections of anonymous grassroots activism.
